Question 1: "What could be done to make it easier for you to find and use government data provided online?"

If this very exercise is representative of the process involved, I note that I am a third of the way through before actually encountering content.

The process needs to be user friendly, well-indexed, and with the potential for individuals to 'customize' reports to their local, unique, age-banded etc. circumstance. Just as we at times can be underwhelmed by lack of accessible data, there is the potential to be overwhelmed. Processes that enable narrowing the search will make access more relevant and useful.
